Physicians measure blood pressure as two values, the systolic (the blood pressure when it enters the aorta from the heart) and the diastolic (the pressure when the heart ventricles take rest betwixt beats). It is evaluated in millimeters of mercury (mm Hg).
Excessive Blood Pressure can be represented in a grown-up as the blood pressure greater than or same as 140 mm Hg systolic pressure, or higher or equal to 90 mm Hg diastolic pressure. If your blood pressure reading is above 140/90 then it is abnormal and you are facing high blood pressure.
